CNC Field Service Engineer

Kinetix, LLC is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to help expand and grow our territory in the Southeastern United States. We are looking for that "one of a kind" personality in the qualified applicant. We have all the tools that you need to succeed and the opportunity for the well qualified technician to earn well above "above average pay". We are currently focusing on expansion in the East Tennessee and Southern Alabama regions, but we have opportunities for placement within the states of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virginia.

Applicant must be able to troubleshoot and repair the following systems:

AC Servo and Spindle Drive Systems CNC Control Systems Electronic/Electrical/PLC Systems Pneumatic/Hydraulic Systems Mechanical Motion Systems (spindle, linear, boxed and rotary) Complex hydraulic and servo driven Mechanical Systems

Applicant should also be familiar with various configurations of machine tool geometry and experienced with correcting and qualifying them.

Must be proficient using:

DMM Megometer O-scope Various Alignment Equipment Indicators, gages, etc. Various hand tools

A "Plus":

Experience operating Ball Bar and/or Laser systems Experience with Mazak Machine Tools Mitsubishi CNC Control and Servo Systems Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe

Daily Duties Include:

The qualified applicant would serve customers by installing and servicing CNC machine tools.

  • Serve existing accounts by planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.

  • Establish service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing service/installation; performing acceptance tests.

  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.

  • Keep tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; completing calibration.

  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, service reports and expense reports.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in training classes.

  • Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
